第二次国内革命战争时期，国民党围剿红军，江南某苏区的儿童团员丹丹和冬冬姐弟俩放羊时站岗放哨。在红军撤退途中，他们发现红军司令员受伤的白龙马，便找隐蔽处为马治伤。一次，冬冬在河里捉鱼，白龙马竟走入敌人的马群中。寻马时冬冬被俘，但机智的他用芦笛信号把白龙马诱出，敌人的马群也随白龙马一起向红军的驻地跑去。。Dragos Binder is doing research in order to write a fiction film based on the true event of his parents fleeing the country in the 80s communist Romania, but then he changes the subject, moving the camera lens on himself.。
