故事讲述未来世界遭遇严重污染，人口出生率骤降，美国部分地区经历血腥革命后建立了男性极权社会Gilead，当权者实行一夫多妻制，女性被当做国有财产，有生育能力的女性称为“女仆”，被迫作为统治阶级的生育工具，女主角Offred就是其中之一，她周旋于统治者、统治者凶残的“妻子”、为统治者打理家务的年长女人“Martha”之间，想在活下去的同时找到自己被夺走的女儿。。半世紀以來《獅子山下》的故事都是香港人的真實寫照，今年適逢該劇開播50年，港臺製作《獅子山下2022》延續經典，當中六個單元包括《得閑飲茶》、《我們的開學禮》、《快樂起舞》、《紅花樹下》、《四季歌》以及《面團家族》，滿戴一幕幕港人故事。。The subtitle of Jean-Marie Straub and Danièle Huillet’s first feature, from 1965, “Only Violence Helps Where Violence Reigns,” suggests the fierce political program evoked by their rigorous aesthetic. The pretext of the film, set in Cologne, is Heinrich Böll’s novel “Billiards at Half Past Nine,” which they strip down to a handful of stark events and film with a confrontational angularity akin to Bartók’s music that adorns the soundtrack. The subtlest of cues accompany the story’s complex flashbacks. The middle-aged Robert Fähmel tells a young hotel bellhop of persecutions under the Third Reich| his elderly father, Heinrich, an architect famed for a local abbey, recalls the militarism of the First World War, when his wife, Johanna, incurred trouble for insulting the Kaiser. A third-generation Fähmel is considering architecture, just as the exiled brother of Robert’s late wife, returns, only to be met by their former torturer, now a West German official taking part in a celebratory parade of war veterans. Straub and Huillet make the layers of history live in the present tense, which they judge severely. The tamped-down acting and the spare, tense visual rhetoric suggest a state of moral crisis as well as the response—as much in style as in substance—that it demands.。
